Three-day Ceramics Fair at London’s Geffrye Museum

18 – 20 September 2009, Geffrye Museum, Kingsland Rd, London, E2 8EA

It’s not often we pay homage to ceramic work, but this weekend the Geffrye Museum will be holding a showcase of work by 48 ceramicists – a mix of both emerging and more well established talents.

On show will be a display of decorative and functional objects, lamps and tableware with ceramicists using a wide variety of styles. Visitors will have the opportunity not just to browse and buy, but to talk with artists on hand to any answer questions. A number of demonstrations and activities for families and children will be taking place.

Look out for work by Karen Bunting, Jane Cox, Yo Thom and Deirdre Burnett.
